Dill or Parsley


german dill sauce, german parsley sauce

Hot or cold. As you can see, I need a lot. From the New Century German Cookbook

1 cup milk
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
3 or more tbsp chopped fresh dill or parsley
2 tbsp margarine or butter
salt and pepper to taste

In small pan melt margarine, add dill or parsley, simmer a few minutes. Add milk, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and turn off when it thickens. Use over anything.
